Startup Fest Macao 2026 (澳門創業展) opens in days — and December brings one of the region’s largest smart-manufacturing and electronics platforms, with the flagship 929 Challenge and 929 Summit moving onto the same stage.

Startup Fest Macao 2026 — our home base (12–14 November)

From 12–14 November 2026, Startup Fest Macao takes over Macau Tower, Level 2 (10:00–18:00 daily). Theme: AI × Startup × Youth. Three days — Tech Day, Startup Day, and Youth Day — combine forums, masterclasses, investor conversations, Hengqin–Macao partnership moments, the Startup Award, and an exhibition floor built for live demos and business matching.

If you have been waiting for a reason to visit Macao as a founder, this is it: walk the booths, swap contacts on SMART PASS, and sit in on the same rooms where policy, capital, and product stories meet.

December in Macao — AIE Expo and 929 on one campus
·
From 3–5 December 2026, the AIE Expo (全球智能制造与电子产品博览会) runs a “one exhibition, two cities” format: Cotai Expo at The Venetian Macao for high-end forums, product launches, and tech showcases, alongside trade and procurement depth in Zhuhai. Sectors span smart equipment, AI, robotics, smart mobility, consumer electronics, and more — with thousands of professional visitors expected across both venues.

Nested inside AIE, the 6th 929 Challenge and 2nd 929 Summit (3–4 December at Cotai Expo) connect China and Portuguese-speaking markets through entrepreneurship — with a US$40,000 prize pool, soft-landing pathways, and a new 929 Acceleration Programme aimed at market entry into Macao and the Greater Bay Area. For teams building hardware, AI, or cross-border go-to-market stories, this is the December counterpart to November’s founder festival at the Tower.

On the global radar — Web Summit Lisbon (9–12 November)

One week before Startup Fest, Web Summit 2026 gathers investors, operators, and product leaders in Lisbon (9–12 November). Many Macao and GBA founders use Web Summit as a global listening post — then return home to convert insights into local partnerships. If you are already in Europe for Web Summit, consider extending east: Macao’s November stack is designed for execution and exhibition, not just keynotes.
