My experience with the Macao Startup Club has been truly unforgettable. My abilities in market research and conducting interviews have significantly improved during my internship. My mentor and best friend, Peter, has been instrumental in enhancing my writing and analytical skills.

During my internship, I had the fortunate opportunity to help build the brand of Next-Page, an online business platform that provides insightful information for aspiring entrepreneurs in Macao.
Our team comprised professionals from various fields: a technical expert, a photographer, market researchers, and a PR specialist. We had the chance to interview successful SMEs in Macao, uncovering the keys to their success by asking the right questions.

My communication and interpersonal skills have greatly improved throughout this process. Additionally, I have gained valuable adaptability skills, which are crucial for addressing unexpected challenges.
I was impressed by how organized our team was. During my internship, everyone was assigned multiple tasks based on their strengths. We had clear deadlines and detailed requirements for each task, which led to high efficiency and productivity.

Through our 20+ research and interviews with local startup companies, we realized that the Macao startup market is still relatively small. Tech startups, particularly in fintech, e-commerce, and smart city solutions, are gaining traction in Macao. However, the majority of startups still belong to traditional industries such as food and beverage.
The startup community in Macao is tight-knit, with various events, meetups, and conferences aimed at fostering networking and collaboration among entrepreneurs. Overall, the startup ecosystem is developing in a healthy environment supported by local communities like the Macao Startup Club.
